I have a bit of a confession to make. I was, for a time, absolutely addicted to Coca Cola. I used to drink soda as causally as the next person, but I actually developed a dependency sometime right after I quit my corporate job to start freelancing full-time. Coca Cola is my absolute favorite soda – I like the fact that it isn’t as sweet as Pepsi. Dr. Pepper was always my back-up.
I could drink a 2 liter bottle of Coke by myself over the course of 1-2 days, on average. I would usually buy a liter after I was done at the dojo on a Saturday, knowing that I’d be pulling a late night. I’d drink it through the night and then into Sunday. I might even start a 2nd bottle before the weekend was through. That’s not to mention what I was drinking during the week (though I did taper down a bit at night and drink water at the dojo).
